Understand the main structural design of the wave soldering pallet
1. The shape of the wave soldering pallet
is based on the size of the customer's PCB and adds about 25MM on each side of the PCB (can be adjusted according to actual conditions). The maximum width cannot exceed the width required by the customer's wave soldering equipment track. The thickness is selected based on the total thickness of the PCB and the highest patch component on the reverse side. Generally, 1mm is added to the thickness and then rounded up.
2. The customer usually specifies the track edge of the wave soldering fixture and must be consistent with the customer's wave soldering equipment track. Then, it is designed as a four-sided track or a double-sided track according to the flow direction of the PCB board. If it is a double-sided track, it must be consistent with the PCB direction required by the customer; the four corners of the tray are inverted R3.
3. Tin-blocking bars
are made around the wave soldering fixture. The cross-sectional size of the tin blocking bar is generally 10x10mm. The space for the track width is reserved on the track support side. Generally, the tin-blocking bar on the track-free side is made into an outer seal. The center distance of the mounting screw hole is an integer multiple of 20. The material of the tin blocking bar is based on customer requirements (generally black FR4).
4. The number and position of the buckles of the wave soldering fixture are set according to the position of the components on the TOP surface of the PCB and the size of the PCB, and the type of buckles is selected according to the customer (as shown in the figure). After the buckles are drawn on the assembly drawing, it is necessary to simulate whether the rotating buckles will touch the components, block the tin bars and whether they will hinder the PCB board from being placed in the fixture cavity.

5. The anti-floating device of the wave soldering fixture is installed on some plug-ins according to the customer's requirements. The anti-floating method is usually determined according to the number and type of anti-floating components. There are usually three types: spring pressure cover, spring sheet, and pressure buckle/positioning pressure cover.
6. Board removal position: Two hand positions are designed on the left and right sides. The hand position is 1.0mm deeper than the PCB sinking area. The hand position is measured to avoid the place where there are plug-ins.
